3S}` Choices
What do you suppose Gods intentions and purposes were when He Chose to place man in His creation and then gave him dominion over it? What was the desire of Gods heart from the beginning? Gods WORD states it clearly, We were created to be a ...temple of the LIVING GOD. As God has said, I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will be their God and they will be My people. I Will be a Father to you and you shall be My Sons and Daughters, says the Lord Almighty. 2Cor.6:16,18
You see, we were created in His likeness and image. 1) We are a spirit, we have a soul, (consisting of our minds, wills, and emotions) and we live in a body. God too, is a Spirit, He has a soul and His desire is to live in a body (Ours) Notice, in the above passage, God said, I Will 3 times? He was making Choices wasnt He? Gods desire is to have a family He can be both Father and God to. Thats His CHOICE. Our Choice then is this: Do we truly desire with all our hearts to be a participating member of His Family.
Talk about Choices, this ones extremely important. God is making us an offer too good to pass up, requiring us to make a quality decision. And so here goes the process. Well think or meditate on it. Seeing ourselves with it, well seriously desire it and will it, or Choose it. After receiving it, well testify of it. Its absolutely the smartest decision well ever make.
Once weve made that Choice to believe God and receive Him as Our God and Father, It wont be long before we discover, Its Choosing Jesus as our Savior and Lord, that made this all possible in the first place! 2) Then we find, A wise (Smart) son makes a Fathers heart glad. 3) How do we please our God and Father? By Believing Him. Because without Faith, its impossible to please God. 4) Prv.3:5 says, Trust in The Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. Its Choosing to believe what God says, and that only. As we trust Him and His Word (His Will & Testament) well learn what our Gods desires are.
First off, Our Heavenly Father wants His children to be established in the fact that He Loves us. 5) Were not to concern ourselves with the trivial things in life, such as clothes, food, and shelter. He certainly knows we have need of these things. But were to SEEK FIRST (The #1 Priority) Him, and the things of His Kingdom and (then) all these things (our needs) shall be added to us. 6) What shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us. Its The Father through the Son giving us all things to enjoy. 7,8,9)
God thinks so strong about the desires of His Heart, that He put some of the real important ones in the form of Commandments. The first and greatest of these, the one of utmost importance to our Father is that We Love Him with all our hearts... 10) Our CHOICE then is this; Are we going to be wise and please our Father by giving Him the desires of His Heart? Tell you what!, if we give God His desires, Hell give us ours. (When were mature enough) Its our Choice.
Where do we start? I call it the 3 Ds. You Desire - You Discipline - You Delight. To put it real bluntly, He is a rewarder of those who are diligent about seeking Him. (11
We are to be imitators of God, as dear children. 12) And as an example we have a big Brother to lookup to, Jesus. We want to be just like Him! Yeah!, well want to know Him, really know Him. 13) And as we get to know our God, well begin to fall more and more in love with Him. Our Awesome and magnificent God is telling us, To Know Me is to Love Me.
You see, if you love someone with all your heart, youll talk about them often, youll think about them a lot, and youll want to be around them & to please them. Youll believe and trust their word. And youll give them praise, to them personally and to others as well.
ITS NOT MUCH DIFFERENT WHEN YOU LOVE GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART

Do you know how to read a spiritual thermometer? If someone is hot or cold in the things of God. Do you know how to ...be watchful with all perseverance ...for all the saints, praying (accurately) ...in the Spirit. 14) So we can all grow in the wisdom and knowledge of our God? 15) All you need to do is listen to what is being said! Jesus said it this way; Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. 16) Ive heard it this way, What were speaking (confessing) with our mouths is always on a direct level of what were believing in our hearts. Our tongue is our spiritual thermometer. Our Lord said, Its not what goes into the mouth that defiles a man ...but those things which proceed out of the mouth, comes from the heart and they defile a man. 17) Solomon said it plainly too: Death & Life are in the Power of the tongue. 18) In other words, its by our (right) words we are justified, and by our (wrong) words we are condemned. 19) Whats in our heart in abundance? Are we being transformed by the renewing of our minds? 20)

Are we fully convinced that what God has promised, He is able to perform? 21) We should be casting down vain imaginations and everything that exalts itself against the truth, Gods Word. 22) Were supposed to be building our house (our lives) on the rock! These are all Choices we make. Were also to let no unwholesome word proceed out of our mouths, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. 23) Prov.16:23 says The heart of the wise teaches his mouth. Therefore, He who guards his mouth preserves his life. James said, Out of the same mouth proceeds blessing and cursing... these things ought not to be so. 24) If anyone among you thinks hes religious and does not bridle his tongue, his religion is useless. 25) We should be putting away lying (speaking falsely) and speak the truth (Gods Word) with our neighbors. 26) So we Choose to put away from us a deceitful mouth. (Contrary to The Word) 27) And be sure to keep our hearts with all diligence, for out of it flow the issues of life. 28) Our prayer should be like that of King Davids, Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in your sight, O Lord... 29)
As for me I Choose to speak the truth in love so that I can grow up in all things unto Him, who is the head Christ ...which causes growth of the (His) body for the edifying of itself in love. 30) How about you? We must CHOOSE Life. 31) Jesus said, I have come to give you Life, and that more abundantly. 32) But we must Choose: to Think, Believe, Talk, and Walk as He walks. Be just like Jesus. 33) Its our destiny. We must study to show ourselves approved of God, workers who need not to be ashamed, 36) at His appearing. 37) We must Choose Gods way, everyday, all the time!!!
