A NEW CREATION A NEW VISION
Adam and Eve were created in the God class of being and in His image and likeness. (1) A Spirit Being having a soul and residing in a body. (2) The problem is that since we are direct descendants of Adam and Eve, we also inherited their sin nature. (3) But just because they decided with their WILLS to disobey God, by believing satan, we don’t have too! (4) We too have a will to decide with. (5) And at some point in our lives we hear that JESUS CHRIST paid the price for our sins, (6) so that through Him, we could receive back the nature of God in our spirit man. (7) So we said ‘WE WILL’ accept His sacrifice, believing that God raised Him up from the dead, confessing Him as our LORD, (8) and God responds as He promised in HIS WORD, just as Jesus said we must, by having us Born Again. (9) Born Again, not of corruptible seed (Adams), but incorruptible seed by the WORD OF GOD (Jesus) (10)
Therefore, if anyone is IN CHRIST, He (Our spirit man) is a New Creation. Old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. (11) We become children of God, (12) placed into His Kingdom (13) Notice, it said all things have become New! There’s actually not anything of our old nature left in their. After all, didn’t we die with Him? (14) Romans 6:4 says, “...we were buried with Him in baptism unto death... we also (like Him) should walk in Newness of Life.” The only thing left in us is the memory, in our minds, of that old nature. (15) That’s why we are advised to not be conformed to this world (and it’s influences both past and present) but be transformed by the renewing of our minds. (16) No longer of this world, even as JESUS is not of this world. (17) We have become member of God’s household of Faith. (18) We’re known as the Body of Christ. (19) And we are instructed to LET this mind be in us which was IN CHRIST JESUS, who thought it not robbery to be equal with God. (20) Well, what kind of mind did JESUS have? Well one thing for sure is, He knew Who He Was! (21)
The word “Let” is in the New Testament over 300 times alone. The definition has a connotation that their is something not only being offered, but it looks like we have a part to play in order for it to come to pass. God has actually given us the choice to LET or not LET. We must choose to LET IT! (22) (Read Priorities CHOICES)
So here we are, A NEW CREATION, placed into His Kingdom (23) and ALL that is in His Kingdom, has been placed within us. (24,25) Our objective now is to become all that God has designed us to be... (26) Full of His (ZOE) life. (27) As we’re becoming mature children of God, is there anything that can hinder this process of growing IN HIM? Most assuredly! When we stay steadfast with our walking in the LIGHT He has given us, His grace takes care of the rest. (28) However, HIS WORD teaches us that Lack Of Knowledge, (29) and Lack of Vision, (30) are a couple of ways His people parish.
First, let’s look at Lack of KNOWLEDGE. What kind of knowledge is this referring to? It’s a lack of knowledge of His Will or His WORD. (31) Not knowing about the Covenants of Promise stunts our growth. (32) Because all Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in Righteousness, that the man of God may be complete... (33) He has provided for us all things that pertain to Life, and Godliness, that through His exceedingly great and magnificent Promises (and our believing them), we partake of His Divine Nature. (34) God’s Word Is God’s Promise. (35) And His promise is sure to all His seed. (36) God is no respecter of persons. (37) His WORD is true, (38) and it never passes away, nor will ever fail us! (39) It’s our standard for our way of LIFE. He has given us an open book test. There’s no excuse for not passing!!
What’s our part in all this? Let’s look to The Word of God. The diligent soul shall be made fat, Solomon said. (43) So in order to grow up spiritually and mentally we attend to the Word and keep it before our eyes and ears. (44) Seeking His TRUTH, His way, through our diligent study of His Word, we show ourselves approved of God, a workman who needs not to be ashamed. (45) Remember, we’re told to take heed to what we hear? (46) Why is this? It’s because this is how we protect our spirits. (47) So we trust in the Lord with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding, (our old way of thinking) in all our ways, we acknowledge Him and He directs our paths. (48) As we begin to reprogram our minds and feed our spirit man with the Truth, this Truth will make us FREE. (49) and WE WILL KNOW IT! That’s KNOWLEDGE!!!
VISION actually comes from knowledge. As we feed our spirits this Word from God, we begin to SEE things the way our God sees them. Remember Jesus said, “if you abide in me and my WORDS abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done for you.” Our wills become the same as His WILL. We’ll begin to prove what is that good and perfect WILL of God. (50) In other words, the way we SEE THINGS or ENVISION THINGS in our heart (or spirit) is the direction that our lives will follow.
How can we check up on what kind of VISION we have stored in our hearts? Well, Jesus said, “Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.” (53) When we say things from belief in our hearts, we’ll have whatever we say. (54) You see, “A good man out of the treasure of His heart brings fourth good things...” (55) He has GOOD VISION. Many people have a maintenance VISION. They get to a certain plateau and then try to hang on, but end up stagnate. (Because it’s Living Water) Some have a negative VISION. A negative vision produces a negative life, no matter where they reside, if you call that living? Then there are those who have DOUBLE VISION. Positive and Negative. This persons wavers in opinion or belief. James warned us, that this person shouldn’t suppose they will receive anything from The Lord. (56) Folks, this is serious stuff! His Mercy and Grace stretches way out there, (57) but we’ve got to start SEEING things the way our God sees things. Forget the past. (58) TODAY IS A NEW DAY
Understand this!, we will, till the day our bodies die, stay the same until we decide with our wills to change and do something about it. (59) We can change this treasure and see the VISION correctly by seeing, hearing, and meditating on God’s Word. (60) Then whatever promise we believe on, we’ll have a VISION for, and the VISION will motivate us to reach for it by faith. Our spirit, souls and bodies will go into action!! Remember, the EYE (The way we see things) is the light of the body. It must be single minded. (61)
Then what we have a VISION for will begin to manifest, right before our eyes. As we have believed (see or imagine) it, is the way we’re gonna get it. (62) Those who believe shall be saved, those who don’t won’t! (63) What I’m trying to say is this; The WORD OF GOD is more real than what appears. Reject all thoughts to the contrary. (64) Speak of things just as though they were, and they will be. (65) We are VICTORIOUS IN HIM. (66) Our shield is FAITH and our sword is The Word of God. USE IT! (67)
